Working in partnership with the NHS and private health care sector
SYSTEM OVERVIEW
The Blueteq shared patient care system is a secure, web-provided medical programme which fills the gap between the GP Clinical Systems and hospital Patient Access Systems (PAS).
It allow patients in primary care and community environments to have their care managed across organisational boundaries.
It precisely fits the needs of the current NHS direction of travel into Practice Based Commissioning (PBC), Alternative Provider Medical Services(APMS) and engagement with the private sector.
It manages inward referrals, patient appointments, communication between doctor and patient and communication between clinicians.
It allows the management and costing of episodes of care.
It can be protocol driven.
The Blueteq system can be located on NHS servers but we also offer a remote hosting service. This means backups are secure and guaranteed with negligible downtime (<.3% of time).
The service is fully "supported" with telephone and on-line support by ticket.
One of the key benefits of The Shared Patient Care System is that it can be tailored to suit any organisation. It is not limited by numbers of patients, sites, complexity of appointments or types of clinicians involved.
